Kangaroo Island

by astridvaagen

Kangaroo Island is an Island south of Adelaide, and is know for its wonderful wildlife it has got because of the isolation from the main land. We have been here since Monday, and are enjoying watching koalas in the trees, wallabies and kangaroos and weird animals like platypuses and echidnas (unfortunately I don’t have any photos of the last two, so you will have to google them if you wonder what they are). As many other places in Australia there are magnificent beaches and great campsites, and we have enjoyed camping here. At least until today when it suddenly started pouring down… This is our last day here though. We’ll be going back to the mainland tomorrow, and heading towards Melbourne, where the four of us will say goodbye, and I will start yet another chapter of this journey.
